Mark Small

I have been qualified for 27 years as an electrical fitter, I trained at Devonport Dockyard and became a qualified tradesman covering plant maintenance, fault finding and installation work at the dockyard plus all aspects of the frigate systems, boats and ferries.

After a few years I started my own business Power-Link Electrical and worked alongside my dad who owned and ran his own company IES Electrical. I ran this as a sole trader until 2002 when I registered it as a Limited company. In 2015 I expanded the business by employing Shaun who is a qualified tradesman.

My experience now covers all aspects of residential and commercial wiring which includes new builds, renovations, maintenance, lighting fit outs and upgrades, switchboards upgrades, led retrofits, data and av installs.

I have a loving wife and 3 very cool busy kids. In my free time I enjoy going boating, fishing, mountain biking, walking, skiing and just generally being in the great outdoors.

MADI Small

I’m Madi Small, a qualified electrician with a genuine passion for the trade. My journey into the electrical industry started at a young age, working alongside my dad and spending countless hours helping with projects. I always enjoyed being hands-on, learning how things worked, and finding practical solutions together. That early experience shaped not only my skills, but also my work ethic and pride in doing a job properly.

Today, I bring that same enthusiasm and dedication into every project I take on. I enjoy working closely with clients, listening to their ideas, and offering practical insights and alternative approaches when challenges arise. Electrical work can often present unexpected situations, and I’m confident in adapting, problem-solving, and delivering solutions that work both technically and practically.
